Q1. How should I prepare for M.P.S.C State services ?       

Ans. MPSC State service has syllabus on line of UPSC CSE but the questions asked are focused on History, Culture, Government schemes and Geography of the state. Thus the preparation is different from UPSC CSE. The questions asked as factual and so require rote learning.

Q2. What is the difference in preparation for M.P.S.C. and U.P.S.C. ?

Ans. CSAT Paper II is just a qualifying paper but MPSC State services Paper II is based on same syllabus but isn't qualifying and marks are counted while deciding the merit list for Stage II.    
Q3. Is knowledge of Marathi needed?

Ans. Yes, there is a paper on Marathi language Class XII level [Subjective] for 50 marks. There is a paper on Marathi [Degree level] objective type for 50 marks. Both papers are compulsory.

Q5. Do we have optional subjects ?       

Ans. No.

Q6. Do we have subjective mains papers ?       

Ans. General studies papers are all objective. Marathi and English papers for 50 marks are subjective. Both are compulsory.

Q7.Is the Sales tax Inspector exam conducted in English or Marathi ?

Ans. Yes both languages

Ans. Yes, most topper have suggested a 5 hours preparation schedule every day. Lok Satta is the preferred paper for these exam for getting current affairs apart from Economic survey of Maharashtra.
