Ans. MPSC State service has syllabus on line of UPSC CSE but the questions asked are focused on History, Culture, Government schemes and Geography of the state. Thus the preparation is different from UPSC CSE. The questions asked as factual and so require rote learning.

Ans. CSAT Paper II is just a qualifying paper but MPSC State services Paper II is based on same syllabus but isn't qualifying and marks are counted while deciding the merit list for Stage II.    

Ans. Yes, there is a paper on Marathi language Class XII level [Subjective] for 50 marks. There is a paper on Marathi [Degree level] objective type for 50 marks. Both papers are compulsory.
